PFC works to facilitate the exchange of community resources across sectors. We seek to catalyze global support, financial or otherwise, to promote sustainable development and enhance self-reliance among impoverished communities.
♦ Community Summits are live and in-person gatherings that link people together across sectors based on their strengths.
♦ The Resource Exchange Bank is a database that acts as a community memory bank that reveals hidden and diverse talents, skills, and resources within a community. Community resource maps identify the skills of people and the resources of associations and organizations. These are then mapped using geographic information system (GIS) to create community asset maps.
♦ Developing Ecological Trading Systems to Accelerating
Well-being (ETSAW - Reversing WASTE) demonstrates our pro-active,
grassroots approach to sustainable development. ETSAW is
a strategy being implemented to transform developing economies
to advanced economies that enable people and the natural
world to prosper together.
